Fujitsu General’s IT hiring activity rises 11.9% in February 2022

Japan-based company Fujitsu General’s IT hiring rose 11.9% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 12.74% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 34.68% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.31% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Fujitsu General IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Fujitsu General, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.04% in February 2022, and a 14.04% rise over January 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.07% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 14.29%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.82% in February 2022, an 83.33% rise from January 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Fujitsu General

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 97.32% share, which marked a 25.29% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 2.68%, registering a 50% month-on-month decline.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 57.14% share in February 2022, a 48.84% growth over January 2022. Germany featured next with an 18.75% share, up 320% over the previous month. Spain recorded an 11.61% share, a decline of 18.75% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Fujitsu General IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.14%, up by 12.28% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.25% share, a growth of 34.62% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.82% share, up 22.22% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.79%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
