US-based company Honeywell International’s IT hiring declined 10.9% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.32% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 19.47% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 2.62% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Honeywell International IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Honeywell International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 75.83% in October 2021, and a 34.98% drop over September 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 8.58% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 12.5%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 5.95% in October 2021, a 20.93% drop from September 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Honeywell International
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 50.79% share, which marked a 41.18% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 33.27%, registering a 36.88% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.59% share and a 32.84% rise over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.35% and a month-on-month decline of 60%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 35.38% share in October 2021, a 44.04% decline over September 2021. US featured next with a 26.44% share, down 43.87% over the previous month. China recorded a 10.86% share, a decline of 36.08% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Honeywell International IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.72%, down by 37.32% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 27.85% share, a decline of 26.73% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.86% share, down 36.08% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.58%, recording a month-on-month increase of 12.5%.
