US-based company Honeywell International’s IT hiring declined 12.9% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.89% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 14.9% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.32% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Honeywell International IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Honeywell International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.06% in September 2022, and a 44.36% drop over August 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 16.67% in September 2022, and registered growth of 11.11%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.89% in September 2022, a 13.51% drop from August 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Honeywell International
North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 42.78% share, which marked an 18.95% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 41.39%, registering a 51.31% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.89% share and a 5.66% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.11% and a month-on-month decline of 55.56%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.83%, registering a 72.73% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 39.44% share in September 2022, a 20.67% decline over August 2022. India featured next with a 39.17% share, down 51.38% over the previous month. Czech Republic recorded a 7.78% share, a decline of 6.67% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Honeywell International IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.28%, down by 44.26% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 31.39% share, a decline of 24.16% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.33% share, down 22.58% over August 2022.
