US-based company Honeywell International ’s IT hiring declined 2.3% in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.37% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 19.48% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 1.69% decline over the last three-month average share.
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Honeywell International , Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.49% in December 2021, and a 5.99% drop over November 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 9.41% in December 2021, and registered a decline of 22.47%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.64% in December 2021, a 15.15% drop from November 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Honeywell International
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 50.61% share, which marked a 3.89% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 39.7%, registering a 4.28% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.91% share and a 38.3% drop over November 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.64% and a month-on-month increase of 20%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.14%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 39.97% share in December 2021, a 1.38% growth over November 2021. US featured next with a 37.52% share, down 0.36% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.37% share, a decline of 27.03% compared with November 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Honeywell International IT hiring activity in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.85%, up by 0.22% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.92% share, a decline of 17.24% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.55% share, down 15.56% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.68%, recording a month-on-month decline of 64.29%.
