1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 73.39% in December 2021, registering a 7.28% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 9.63% share, a decrease of 21.3% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.13%, registering a 16.67% rise from November 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.98%, flat growth over the previous month.

Top five construction companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 6.42% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s construction industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

Honeywell International posted 293 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 1.38% over the previous month, followed by General Electric with 109 jobs and a 14.74% growth. Johnson Controls International with 62 IT jobs and NV Bekaert with 46 jobs, recorded an 113.79% flat growth and a 29.23% decrease, respectively, while Caterpillar recorded an increase of 2.78% with 37 job postings during December 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.13%, up by 5.05% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 39.07% share, registered an increase of 10.22% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 6.46% share, down 36.67% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.34%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
