IT jobs claimed an 8.15% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.03% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Johnson Controls International IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Johnson Controls International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.75% in October 2021, and a 7.24% drop over September 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 21.68% in October 2021, and registered growth of 25%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 13.01% in October 2021, a 12.5% rise from September 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Johnson Controls International

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 62.43% share, which marked a 3.57% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 21.39%, registering a 39.62% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.61% share and a 25.58% rise over September 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.58% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 56.07% share in October 2021, a 1.52% decline over September 2021. India featured next with a 14.16% share, up 32.43% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 3.47% share, a decline of 47.83% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Johnson Controls International IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.84%, up by 36.29% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 35.55% share, a decline of 18% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15.03% share, up 4% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.58%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
