US-based company Jones Lang LaSalle’s IT hiring remained flat in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.46% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.38% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.43% decline over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Jones Lang LaSalle, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.16% in September 2022, and a 54.55% rise over August 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 23.62% in September 2022, and registered growth of 150%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 20.47% in September 2022, a 7.14% drop from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Jones Lang LaSalle

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 53.54% share, which marked a 28.3% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 23.62%, registering an 11.11% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 17.32% share and a 57.14% rise over August 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.15% and a month-on-month increase of 100%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 2.36%, registering a 40% drop over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 24.41% share in September 2022, a 63.16% growth over August 2022. US featured next with a 21.26% share, flat growth over the previous month. China recorded a 10.24% share, an increase of 44.44% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.91%, down by 11.25% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.83% share, a growth of 163.64% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 21.26% share, up 170% over August 2022.
