The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.6% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 5.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.06% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Jones Lang LaSalle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.75% in October 2021, and a 16.87% rise over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 18.97% in October 2021, and registered growth of 57.14%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 13.79% in October 2021, a 33.33% rise from September 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Jones Lang LaSalle

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 50% share, which marked a 52.63% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 36.21%, registering a 3.28% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 9.77% share and a 142.86% rise over September 2021.

In the fourth place was Haryana with a share of 2.87% and a month-on-month increase of 150%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.57%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 39.66% share in October 2021, a 68.29% growth over September 2021. US featured next with a 35.06% share, up 3.39% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 5.75% share, a decline of 9.09% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.71%, up by 54.76% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.82% share, a decline of 8.82% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.47% share, up 18.18% over September 2021.
