The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 13.51% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Jones Lang LaSalle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 28.57% in May 2022, and a 15.15% drop over April 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 20.41% in May 2022, and registered growth of 17.65%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 20.41% in May 2022, a 52.38% drop from April 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 53.06% share, which marked a 26.76% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32.65%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.27% share and a 44.44% rise over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.02% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 31.63% share in May 2022, a 29.17% growth over April 2022. India featured next with a 28.57% share, down 6.67% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 21.43% share, a decline of 27.59% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.55%, up by 10.14% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.24% share, a growth of 9.09% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.2% share, down 56.52% over April 2022.
