US-based company KBR’s IT hiring rose 3.8% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.62% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 13.84% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.25% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops KBR IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by KBR, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 37% in July 2022, and an 8.82% rise over June 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 24% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 17.24%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 23% in July 2022, a 9.52% rise from June 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at KBR

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 75% share, which marked a 16.67% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 21%, registering a 50% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4% share and a 20% drop over June 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 74% share in July 2022, a 17.78% decline over June 2022. Singapore featured next with a 10% share, up 233.33% over the previous month. Australia recorded an 8% share, an increase of 14.29% compared with June 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead KBR IT hiring activity in July 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 49%, up by 32.43% from June 2022. Junior Level positions with a 34% share, a decline of 43.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 15% share, up 15.38% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
