The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.15% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 14.37% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 1.29% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops KBR IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by KBR, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 31.43% in June 2022, and a 37.5% rise over May 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 25.71% in June 2022, and registered growth of 68.75%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 19.05% in June 2022, a 17.65% rise from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at KBR

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in June 2022 with an 81.9% share, which marked a 32.31% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 12.38%, registering an 85.71% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.76% share and a 400% rise over May 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.95% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with an 81.9% share in June 2022, a 32.31% growth over May 2022. Australia featured next with a 5.71% share, flat growth over the previous month. The UK recorded a 4.76% share, an increase of 400% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead KBR IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.24%, up by 31.82% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.33% share, a growth of 84.21% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.43% share, up 20% over May 2022.
