Switzerland-based company Nestle’s IT hiring rose 8.0% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 9.29% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 3.6% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.06% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Nestle IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Nestle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.26% in October 2021, and an 88.24% rise over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 27.78% in October 2021, and registered growth of 7.14%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 11.11% in October 2021, a 14.29% drop from September 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Nestle
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 46.3% share, which marked a 56.25% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 22.22%, registering a 9.09% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 14.81% share and an 11.11% drop over September 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 9.26% and a month-on-month increase of 66.67%. Missouri stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 3.7%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with an 18.52% share in October 2021, a 25% growth over September 2021. Spain featured next with a 16.67% share, up 350% over the previous month. Seychelles recorded a 9.26% share, a decline of 28.57% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Nestle IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.96%, up by 9.68% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 20.37% share, a growth of 22.22% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.67% share, up 80% over September 2021.
