Netherlands construction industry registered a 2.2% drop in IT hiring activity in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.6% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.21% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.32% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.53% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry in June 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42.65% in June 2022, registering a 19.44% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 32.35% share, a decrease of 42.11% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 20.59%, registering a 56.25% decline from May 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 1.47%, down 83.33% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 20.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Vinci posted 36 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 29.41% over the previous month, followed by Bilfinger with 12 jobs and a 14.29% drop. CRH with 4 IT jobs and Arcadis UK (Holdings) with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Royal BAM Group recorded a decline of 40% with 3 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.71%, down by 51.65% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.59% share, registered an increase of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.71% share, down 54.55% over May 2022.
