The industry’s overall hiring increased by 8.47% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.61% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.47% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.41% in September 2021, registering a 271.43% flat growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 17.07% share, an increase of 75% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.63%, registering a 50% rise from August 2021.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.32%, up 50% over the previous month.

Top five construction companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 277.78% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

Royal HaskoningDHV posted 16 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 128.57% over the previous month, followed by NCC with 7 jobs and a flat growth. Vinci with 6 IT jobs and Van Oord with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Sun Hung Kai Properties recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during September 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.41%, up by 116.67% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 24.39% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 9.76% share, flat growth over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 2.44%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
