Netherlands construction industry registered a 9.1% rise in IT hiring activity in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.78% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.99% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.18% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 97.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry in May 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 32.86% in May 2022, registering a 64.29% growth over the previous month.
2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 31.43% share, an increase of 266.67% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 25.71%, registering a 28% decline from April 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 4.29%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 130% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Vinci posted 26 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 766.67% over the previous month, followed by Bilfinger with 6 jobs and a 20% growth. Van Oord with 5 IT jobs and Royal HaskoningDHV with 5 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while ABB recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.29%, up by 22.92% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 12.86% share, registered an increase of 80% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 2.86% share, down 33.33% over April 2022.
