Netherlands construction industry registered a 9.5% rise in IT hiring activity in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 13.2% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.01% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 0.82% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Netherlands construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.01% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry in October 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 47.52% in October 2022, registering a 152.63% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 28.71% share, an increase of 38.1% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 16.83%, registering a 30.77% rise from September 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 3.96%, up 33.33% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 286.36% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands construction industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Royal Volker Wessels Stevin posted 45 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Vinci with 21 jobs and an 110% growth. Bilfinger with 11 IT jobs and ABB with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 400% growth, respectively, while Arcadis recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.25%, up by 68.89% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.86% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.89% share, up 83.33% over September 2022.
