Panasonic’s IT hiring activity rises 19.3% in February 2022

Japan-based company Panasonic’s IT hiring rose 19.3% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 13.19% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 33.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.59% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Panasonic IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Panasonic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.07% in February 2022, and an 80% rise over January 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 21.38% in February 2022, and registered growth of 181.82%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.17% in February 2022, a 4.35% drop from January 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Panasonic

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 40.69% share, which marked a 43.9% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 39.31%, registering a 58.33% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 20% share and a 190% rise over January 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 40.69% share in February 2022, a 51.28% growth over January 2022. Mexico featured next with a 22.07% share, up 45.45% over the previous month. US recorded a 15.86% share, an increase of 64.29% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Panasonic IT hiring activity in February 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.83%, up by 77.36% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.28% share, a growth of 32.26% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.9% share, up 233.33% over January 2022.
