Japan-based company Panasonic’s IT hiring rose 8.4% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 9.3% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 33.57% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 2.82% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Panasonic IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Panasonic, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.27% in October 2021, and a 42.11% rise over September 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 20.86% in October 2021, and registered growth of 45%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.39% in October 2021, a 5.26% rise from September 2021.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Panasonic
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 46.76% share, which marked a 54.76% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 36.69%, registering a 50% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 16.55% share and a 4.17% drop over September 2021.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 46.04% share in October 2021, a 52.38% growth over September 2021. Spain featured next with a 33.81% share, up 95.83% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 10.79% share, a flat growth compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Panasonic IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.99%, up by 32.26% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 34.53% share, a growth of 45.45% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.47% share, up 80% over September 2021.
