Poland’s consumer industry registered a 5.0% drop in IT hiring activity in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.22% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.55% share in October 2021, recording a decrease of 2.3% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry in October 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.98% in October 2021, registering a 14.29% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 24.49% share, an increase of 50% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18.37%, registering a 28.57% rise from September 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 8.16%, down 33.33% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 57.89% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s consumer industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
The Procter & Gamble posted 9 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 10% over the previous month, followed by British American Tobacco with 9 jobs and a 350% growth. AB Electrolux with 5 IT jobs and Mars with 4 jobs, recorded a 150% growth and a 100% growth, respectively, while Arla Foods recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.22%, flat growth from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 24.49% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 12.5% over September 2021.
