Romania’s consumer industry registered a 3.4% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 10.76% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.5% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 0.26% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Romania’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s consumer industry in September 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 73.33% in September 2021, registering a 46.67% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 20% share, a decrease of 57.14% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 6.67%, registering a 33.33% decline from August 2021.
Top five consumer companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s consumer industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
The Estee Lauder Companies posted 11 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a rise of 1000% over the previous month, followed by Molson Coors Beverage with 7 jobs and a 36.36% drop. British American Tobacco with 6 IT jobs and Carrier Global with 2 jobs, recorded a 60% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Demae-can recorded an increase of 100% with 2 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 50%, down by 34.78% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 23.33% share, registered an increase of 75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 23.33% share, flat growth over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 3.33%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
