Spain’s consumer industry registered a 58.1% rise in IT hiring activity in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 22.5% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the consumer industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 14.14% share in March 2022, recording an increase of 1.92% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s consumer industry’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.6% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s consumer industry in March 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 58.04% in March 2022, registering a 102.44% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.08% share, an increase of 200% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 6.99%, registering a 900% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.59%, up 166.67% over the previous month.
Top five consumer companies in Spain’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 92.31% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s consumer industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Nestle posted 68 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a rise of 580% over the previous month, followed by Panasonic with 28 jobs and a 47.37% growth. The Swatch Group with 13 IT jobs and Fujitsu General with 8 jobs, recorded a 30% growth and a 38.46% decrease, respectively.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.14%, up by 75.51% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.97% share, registered an increase of 344.44% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.89% share, up 240% over February 2022.
