The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.32% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Stantec IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Stantec, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.33% in September 2021, and a 70.37% rise over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 30.77%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 12% in September 2021, a 125% rise from August 2021.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in September 2021 with an 84% share, which marked a 36.96% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 12%, registering a 50% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 4% share and a 66.67% drop over August 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 54.67% share in September 2021, a 78.26% growth over August 2021. Canada featured next with a 29.33% share, down 4.35% over the previous month. UK stood in the next place with 8% share and a flat growth.
Mid Level jobs lead Stantec IT hiring activity in September 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 52%, up by 290% from August 2021. Junior Level positions with a 33.33% share, a decline of 45.65% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.67% share, up 57.14% over August 2021.
