US-based company The Procter & Gamble’s IT hiring rose 11.0% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 7.4% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed an 8.33% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.06% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Procter & Gamble IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Procter & Gamble, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.26% in September 2021, and a 15.38% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.75% in September 2021, and registered growth of 83.33%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.55% in September 2021, a flat growth from August 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at The Procter & Gamble
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 39.62% share, which marked an 8.7% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 32.08%, registering a 5.56% month-on-month decline. South & Central America was the third leading region with a 16.98% share and a 50% rise over August 2021.
In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 9.43% and a month-on-month decline of 16.67%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.89%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 26.42% share in September 2021, a 22.22% decline over August 2021. Poland featured next with an 18.87% share, down 9.09% over the previous month. Costa Rica recorded a 13.21% share, an increase of 75% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead The Procter & Gamble IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.38%, down by 15.79% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 22.64% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.98% share, up 80% over August 2021.
