The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 5.55% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

Top five construction companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 67.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s construction industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
Danfoss posted 45 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 2.27% over the previous month, followed by Renishaw with 35 jobs and a flat growth. Kier Group with 33 IT jobs and Cummins with 17 jobs, recorded a 153.85% growth and an 112.5% growth, respectively, while Babcock International Group recorded a decline of 26.09% with 17 job postings during December 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.61%, down by 16.54% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.5% share, registered a decline of 29.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.16% share, down 9.26% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.73%, recording a month-on-month decline of 40%.
