The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 24.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s consumer industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Fujitsu General posted 24 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 14.29% over the previous month, followed by Unternehmensgruppe Theo Muller S.e.c.s. with 16 jobs and a 60% growth. Games Workshop Group with 6 IT jobs and Unilever with 5 jobs, recorded a 200% flat growth and a 16.67% decrease, respectively, while The Procter & Gamble recorded a decline of 16.67% with 5 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.91%, down by 22.09% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20% share, registered an increase of 69.23% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 17.27% share, down 5% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.82%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
