1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 33.98% in December 2021, registering a 27.46% decline over the previous month.

2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 27.03% share, an increase of 319.08% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 22.33%, registering a 215.13% rise from November 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 8.4%, down 9.42% over the previous month.

 

Top five construction companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 157.27% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s construction industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

CDM Smith posted 1,903 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 344.63% over the previous month, followed by Honeywell International with 275 jobs and a 0.36% drop. Komatsu with 179 IT jobs and Rockwell Automation with 171 jobs, recorded a 19% decline and an 1800% growth, respectively, while General Electric recorded an increase of 38.1% with 145 job postings during December 2021.

Mid Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Mid Level jobs held a share of 53.93%, up by 112.1% from November 2021. Junior Level positions with a 34.58% share, registered a decline of 20.09% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.28% share, up 13.1% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.21%, recording a month-on-month decline of 1.61%.
