Top five single-family housing construction projects that commenced in the UK in Q3 2021

Here are the top five single-family housing construction projects that commenced in the UK in Q3 2021, according to GlobalData’s construction projects database.

1. Rivington Chase Development – $316m

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex on 76ha of land on the former Horwich Loco Work’s industrial site in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q3 2034.

The project is being developed in collaboration with the key landowners of the site: Network Rail, Homes England, and HKR Ltd, and overseen by Bolton Council.

2. Findrassie Mixed-Use Community – $300m

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community on 112ha of land in Elgin, Scotland.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2021 and is expected to finish in Q3 2026.

The project aims to provide better residential and commercial facilities in the region.

3. Woodmansey Residential Community – $150m

The project involves the construction of a residential community comprising 430 homes on 14.25ha of land in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is forecast to complete in Q4 2024.

The project is a part of ERYC’s master plan to build 1800 homes on 77ha of land and was approved in 2015.

4. Preston Road Residential Community – $125m

The project involves the construction of a residential community on 16.98ha of land in Hull.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q3 2026.

5. Netherton Grange Residential Community – $100m

The project involves the construction of 450 homes on 24ha of land in Somerset.

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

The project aims to provide better residential and retail facilities in the region.
