Construction commences on $64m Acoya Shea Senior Living Community in the US

Construction work on the $64m Acoya Shea Senior Living Community located in Scottsdale, Arizona, the US commenced in Q4 2021. It was announced in Q1 2021.

The project involves the construction of a four-story, 18,302m2 senior living community comprising 147-units on 1.03ha of land in Scottsdale, Arizona, the US.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of indoor and outdoor dining venues
2. Construction of a private courtyard
3. Construction of a swimming pool
4. Construction of a movie theater
5. Construction of a salon and barbershop
6. Construction of a fitness studio
7. Construction of a cocktail lounge
8. Construction of an outdoor pet area
9. Construction of a memory care garden
10. Construction of a tele-medicine room
11. Construction of a massage and physical therapy room
12. Construction of an underground parking garage
13. Installation of elevators
14. Installation of safety and security systems

Construction on the project, spread across 1 hectares, is expected to be completed by Q2 2023.

Owners of the project include the US-based Cadence Senior Living and Ryan Companies US.
