1. Matarbari LNG Terminal and Power Plant – $3,000m

The project involves the construction of an LNG terminal and and power plant at Matarbari in Maheshkhali Upazilla of Cox’s Bazar District, Chittagong, Bangladesh

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

The purpose of the new facilities is to supply gas to domestic consumers, minimize potential safety, environmental and socioeconomic impacts and reduce the dependence on oil imports.

2. Taichung Gas-Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant 2600 MW – $1,163m

The project involves the construction of a gas-fired combined cycle power plant at Longjing District in Taichung, Taiwan.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2021 and is expected to finish in Q3 2026.

The purpose of the project is to implement the gas-fired project to gradually replace the coal-fired units. The project is seated in the south of No.9 and No.10 coal-fired units of the Taichung Power Plant complex.

3. Dongguan Hongmei Natural Gas Cogeneration Power Plant 920 MW – $450m

The project involves the construction of a natural gas cogeneration power plant with a power generation capacity of 920MW in Dongguan, Guangdong, China.

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is forecast to complete in Q4 2023.

The project aims to meet the growing demand for power in the region and contribute to economic development and industrialization in the country.

4. Kerawalapitiya Combined Cycle Power Plant 300 MW – $250m

The project involves the construction of a 300MW liquefied natural gas (LNG) power plant on 4ha of land at Kerawalapitiya in Wattala, Western, Sri Lanka.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2023.

The project aims to address the growing demand for power in the region.

5. Hope Town LNG Power Plant 50 MW – $174m

The project involves the construction of an LNG power plant with a capacity of 50MW in Hope Town, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.

Construction work started in Q3 2021 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

The project aims to meet the growing demand for power in the region.
