Here are North America’s five largest commercial and leisure construction projects that were initiated in Q2 2022, according to GlobalData’s construction projects database.

1. Keystone Trade Center – $1,500m

The project involves the expansion of 13,93,545m2, 20 Keystone Trade Center on 728ha of land in Pennsylvania, the US.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2025.

The project aims to meet the demand for warehouse facilities and light industrial use buildings in the region. It will create 10,000 jobs.

2. The Eight Office Tower – $476m

The project involves the construction of a 50,167m2 25-story office tower in Bellevue, Washington, the US.

Construction work commenced in Q2 2022 and is expected to finish in Q1 2024.

The project will be designed to be flexible for all types of tenants and densities in the region.

3. 1900 Lawrence Street Office Tower – $400m

The project involves the construction of a 30-story office tower on 0.51ha of land in Denver, Colorado, the US.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is forecast to complete in Q4 2024.

The project aims to transform a parking lot into an office tower.

4. Bainbridge Logistics Center – $400m

The project involves the construction of a 348,262m2 warehouse complex on 485ha of land in Port Deposit, Maryland, the US.

Construction work commenced in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

The project aims to meet the growing need for warehouse facilities in the region.

5. North Harbour Mixed-Use Development – $320m

The project involves the development of mixed-use facilities on 4.85ha of land in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q3 2025.

The aim of the project is to provide residential, commercial, retail and leisure facilities in the region.
