Five largest construction projects initiated in Poland in Q3 2022

Here are the five largest construction projects initiated in Poland during Q3 2022, according to GlobalData’s construction projects database.

1. S1 Expressway: Myslowice to Bielsko-Biala – $831m

The project involves the construction of a 40km road from Myslowice to Bielsko-Biala, Silesian Voivodeship.

Construction work started in Q3 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2025.

The project aims to provide better transportation and commuting facilities in the region.

2. Stalowa Wola Copper Foil Plant – $760m

The project involves the construction of a copper foil plant with a production capacity of 50,000 tons per annum on 60ha of land in Stalowa Wola.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2022 and is expected to finish in Q2 2024.

3. Lodz II Logistics Center – $575m

The project involves the construction of a 97,000m2 logistics center in Lodz Voivodeship.

Construction work started in Q3 2022 and is forecast to complete in Q4 2023.

The project aims to provide better distribution and warehouse facilities in the region.

4. S6 Expressway Kashubian Route: Lebork to Bozepole Wielkie – $353m

The project involves the construction of a 23.5km expressway between Lebork (Lesnice junction) and Bozepole Wielkie in Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Construction work commenced in Q3 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q2 2026.

The route is so-called the Trasa Kaszubska (Kashubian Route).

5. Tuwima Residential Complex – $240m

The project involves the construction of a residential complex comprising 868 apartments in Lodz Voivodeship.

Construction work started in Q3 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2026.

The project aims to help meet the rising residential demand in the region
