Here are the top five multi-family housing construction projects that commenced in Malaysia in Q2 2022, according to GlobalData’s construction projects database.

1. Goodwood Residence Mixed-Use Complex – $200m

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex in Sungai Ara, Penang.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.

5. Suria Apartment – $80m

The project involves the construction of a 26-story residential complex comprising 439 units in Butterworth, Penang.

Construction work started in Q2 2022 and is expected to be completed in Q4 2026.

The aim of the project is to provide better residential facilities in the region.
