Aston Villa Football Club has released new CGI images with regard to the redevelopment of Villa Park.

The latest move comes as Aston Villa announces plans to present a detailed planning application for the first phase of the stadium’s revamp and extension at the end of this month.

With these plans, the club aims to create a sporting venue with an increased spectator capacity of more than 50,000.

During June and July, almost 10,000 residents and businesses, stakeholders, and fans provided feedback on the plans.

The move followed a public pre-planning application consultation.

The major areas of the first phase will include a new North Stand, carrying out improvements to the current Trinity Stand.

The first phase also includes the creation of a new standalone community, multi-use entertainment, and retail venue destination, Villa Live.

Renovation of the Witton Lane entrance and the public space surrounding the North Stand will also be part of this phase.

Initially, the club plans to begin the stadium regeneration works with an investment of more than £100m during this phase.

Late next year, the works are estimated to take place, with the completion of construction expected toward the end of 2025.
