UK-based Caddick Construction has secured a £10.7m contract to build phase one of the Novus business park in Knutsford, Cheshire from developer Chancerygate.

Phase one of the project is expected to complete by September 2020.

This phase will feature development of nine industrial and warehouse units totalling 132,000ft², as well as highway improvements and a new crossroad.

A unit totalling 30,000ft² has been pre-let to auto retailer Sytner Group on a long-term lease. The retailer will use this space for pre-delivery inspection and vehicle servicing for its clients.

Caddick Construction North West managing director Ian Threadgold said: “We hope this is the start of a successful long-term relationship between our two companies. We are enjoying an excellent year of new project wins and look forward to delivering an exceptional business park for Chancerygate.”

The 244,000ft² Novus business park in Knutsford, Cheshire, has a gross development value of approximately £33m.
