Humphreys & Partners is serving as the architect for the 181-unit apartment community, which will be managed by Greystar.
The interior designer of the project is Karen Kramer & Associates while Jordan Foster is acting as the general contractor.
Cambridge is also working with engineer Vickery & Associates for the project.
Cambridge Development principal Ron Lightfoot said: “We’re pleased to bring Citadel Urban to San Antonio.
“The city’s market for rental housing continues to be strong, and Cambridge Development has had great success in San Antonio since 2009. This community will be a great addition to our portfolio and the Westover Hills neighbourhood.”
The community will feature studio-, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans.
With open-design floor plans, apartment homes will have 9ft ceilings, oversized walk-in closets, wood-inspired flooring, and programmable thermostats.
The homes will also feature stainless steel Energy Star appliances, granite countertops, oversized garden tubs, and tile backsplashes.
Amenities including a clubhouse with a resident lounge, a cybercafé with gourmet coffee bar, and coworking spaces will be provided at Citadel Urban.
Electronic access and gated entry, convenient mail areas, and facilities for oversized packages are some of the facilities that will be available at the community.
Other facilities will include direct access garages, a resort-style swimming pool and cabana, climate controlled storage, a dog park, multiple electric charging stations, and outdoor California style cooking areas.
Citadel Urban is located in proximity to major employers such Lackland Air Force Base/Port San Antonio, Microsoft, and NSA Cybersecurity.
