Iris Residential has selected construction company Multiple to build the A$100m ($70m) Amara City Gardens in Booragoon, Australia.
Construction work is expected to begin by the end of this year.

The Amara City Gardens project will consist of 124 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as five commercial tenancies.
The building will feature a range of premium facilities and amenities and adjoin the Garden City Shopping Centre.
The proposed facility will be located within walking distance of the Booragoon bus station and fitness and leisure centres.
It will also have key schools, universities and health facilities in close proximity.

Larger apartments will feature balconies, two bathrooms, kitchen and two car bays.
Multiplex regional managing director Chris Palandri said: “We’re delighted to be appointed to construct Amara City Gardens and enter into what we anticipate to be a long-term partnership with Iris Residential.
“We’re looking forward to commencing construction and delivering a high-quality development for both Iris Residential and its purchasers.”
Upon completion, prices at Amara City Gardens will start from A$335,000 and can go up to A$1m, depending on the size, location and quality of river views.
