Global commercial real estate services company Cushman & Wakefield has acquired Dutch design and build practice DZAP.

Established in 1995, DZAP offers office interior designs and office building revitalisation services.

It currently employs 50 people to serve its customers on various projects across all sectors including Cushman & Wakefield’s Netherlands headquarters in UNStudio, Amsterdam.

Following the acquisition of Admos in Belgium and Luxembourg last year, the deal will improve the design and build capabilities of Cushman in EMEA.

As part of the transaction, Cushman will integrate DZAP into its EMEA project & development services (PDS) skill line. The regional PDS team will now include 475 people.

PDS offers project management, building consultancy, interior design, building engineering and cost consultancy services.

DZAP managing director Edward Vis will serve as the PDS Netherlands head and lead existing in-country staff, as well as DZAP’s project management team.

Cushman & Wakefield’s current team lead John Konijn will continue to lead his existing team.
