Bouygues Construction subsidiary Dragages Singapore has secured two contracts in Singapore worth a combined total of approximately €160m.

Under a €93m contract with property developer CDL the company will build a 90,000m2 residential complex called Blossom Residences, consisting of three buildings of 16 to 18 floors.

The project, which will employ 500 workers during peak periods of construction, is scheduled to be completed in spring 2014.

In addition, property developer SC Global has awarded a €64m contract to Dragages Singapore to construct a high-rise apartment block.

The 17,400m2 tower designed by architect Carlos Zapata will comprise 35 apartments on 36 levels.

The tower’s curtain wall features a sophisticated system of directional sun screens intended to regulate light and heat according to the position of the sun.
