Housing communities developer EdR has opened a new residence hall ‘Sycamore Suites’ on the campus of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) in East Stroudsburg, US.

Sycamore Suites is the last phase of a multi-phased development project led by EdR.

In 2012, the initial phase of the regenerated on-campus housing, Hawthorn and Hemlock Suites, was concluded.

ESU president Marcia Welsh said: "The opening of Sycamore Suites clearly demonstrates East Stroudsburg University's commitment to putting the needs of our students first."

The new 496-bed community features a mix of two and four-person suite configurations with built-in closets and carpets.

Each unit is air-conditioned and has a semi-private bathroom and kitchenette.
