The construction of Dubai Hills Estate is spread over 11 million m² and is presently on schedule, announced its developer Emaar Properties.

The first phase of a championship golf course, which overlooks Burj Khalifa, is complete. This golf course is marked by valleys and lakes, reported Constructionweekonline.com.

Golf villas in the Fairways and Parkways communities will be ready later this year.

Meanwhile, the construction of other apartments, Maples, Mulberry and Acacia, will begin soon, with plans to handover Mulberry apartments first.

"The opportunity for investors to purchase land plots and design villas of their choice is another attraction that will appeal to the connoisseurs."

Emaar Properties managing director Ahmad Al Matrooshi was quoted by the website as saying: "The residential communities in Dubai Hills Estate are indeed a first of their kind in the city, with the focus on green living next to a world-class championship golf course.
