Laing O’Rourke has been selected by Mosley Street Ventures to redevelop its office building Two St Peters Square on Mosley Street Manchester.
Redevelopment of the existing building has commenced and the project is scheduled to be completed in January 2017.

The new building will require an investment of more than £80m.
Mosley Street Ventures director Darryl Lee said: "We were impressed with the proposal Laing O’Rourke put forward, they have an excellent reputation and we are looking forward to the start of construction.
"Once the project is completed it will be one of the most prestigious office buildings in Manchester. The building has been designed to complement the changing face of St Peters Square being sympathetic to its history and architecture."
Plans for the proposed building, which is claimed to serve as an addition to Manchester’s commercial portfolio, were submitted in 2013.
The proposed high-rise office building in Manchester, England, has been designed by SimpsonHaugh and Partners.
Throughout the design evolution the company has consulted with Manchester City Council.
Laing O’Rourke leader in the north Tom Higgins said: "We have a strong working knowledge of the St Peter’s Square heritage development area, through our delivery of the town hall complex transformation and second city crossing."
