Legal & General Property (LGP) has appointed Make Architects to draw up a plan for the redevelopment of a seven-storey office block in Hanover Square in London’s Mayfair district.

The 40,000ft2 area at 7-10 Hanover Square in central London currently houses office buildings from the 1950s and 1960s spread across seven floors.

The company is planning to build a high-quality, office-based development when leases for the building expire in 2014.

Mace has been appointed as project manager for the scheme and the entire project is scheduled to be completed by 2016.
