The Opus Group has started construction on a speculative industrial development in the Valley Park Business Centre in Shakopee, US.

Located southwest of Minneapolis near a major state highway, the 122,400ft² speculative development will be suitable for tenants who desire to be in the Shakopee submarket.

Prior to this, Opus completed a 200,000ft² speculative development and a 216,000ft² build-to-suit industrial warehouse and office space for AmerisourceBergen.

"The building will feature 193 parking stalls, 24 dock doors, and six drive-in doors."

Opus' development company real estate development senior manager Joe Mahoney said: “We are thrilled to advance our work on this site with this great offering for small to mid-size users.

“The high-level of interest we’ve already received for this project confirm the depth of the market and the need for space like this.”

The building will have the capacity to accommodate users ranging from 20,000 to 122,000ft. It will feature 193 parking stalls, 24 dock doors, and six drive-in doors.
