The Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, US, has secured LEED-EB Platinum cetification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

The iconic building, which achieved LEED-EB Gold status in 2009, scored 98 during its latest assessment to achieve full Platinum certification.

The facility now uses less energy and has a waste diversion rate of 70%, while it’s recycling and compost programme has reduced the cost of waste collection by 73% in the past three years.
