Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club has received planning permission from Haringey Council in the UK to build a £400m stadium next to its base at White Hart Lane in north London.
The premier league club wants to redevelop White Hart Lane in a 20-acre industrial side adjacent to the ground in a plan known as the Northumberland Development Project.
Spurs has signed a section 106 agreement to pay £17m for local transport and infrastructure improvements for the new stadium.
The transformation of the old stadium will be carried out in four phases.
