Construction company Tutor Perini will build the dual-branded Tribute Portfolio and Element by Westin Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US, under a contract signed with Wurzak Hotel Group and realtor DoveHill.
The hotel comprises a 209-room Tribute Portfolio Hotel and a 114-room Element by Westin Hotel.

Tutor will build the 24-storey, 323-room hotel, which will house both the brands, and feature a rooftop lounge and restaurant, a pool and gymnasium facility, parking, ground-level retail spaces, a ballroom and several meeting rooms.
The hotel will include a sky lobby on the seventh floor with a bar, a gym, and an indoor and outdoor pool deck.
Construction is expected to begin later this year and be completed by next year.

By GlobalDataTutor Perini has also won a contract with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to construct four platforms and eight tracks for the new Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) terminal as part of the East Side Access Manhattan.
Work under the project will include transformation of two 1,143ft-long caverns into a terminal station, with more than 12 miles of track work from Queens to Manhattan.
Tutor is also building a tunnel approach and a bridge for the project.
East Side project works under the two contracts are worth $742m.
MTA chairman and CEO Thomas Prendergast said: "These are significant milestones for East Side Access and will turn raw underground caverns into the modern station.
"East Side Access will save Long Island and Queens customers up to 40 minutes a day in travel time, demonstrating why transit expansion is a key element of our 2015-19 Capital Program."
