One Camelback project in Phoenix, Arizona, to be completed in 2021

The Erwin Architecture-designed One Camelback project, an 11-storey mixed-use development in Phoenix, Arizona, will be completed in 2021.

The project is expected to bring a new dimension of elegant living to uptown Phoenix.

It will feature a vibrant use of residential space and have dramatic floor-to-ceiling views of Central Phoenix, in addition to modern and functional floorplans, upscale amenities and top services.

The management company for One Camelback, Stellar Residential president and founder Dale Phillips said: “Arizona hasn’t seen anything quite like One Camelback; we expect this bold development to set a new benchmark for urban, elegant living in the Southwest.”

The project is expected to bring in a range of exclusive retailers to the heart of Central Phoenix.

Through Cox Communications, it will also be the first 1GB community in Arizona, meaning that every unit will have 1GB internet speeds included in the rent.

The 215,245ft² glass-ensconced property will feature 163 apartment units with exposed ceilings and 10ft-tall floor-to-ceiling windows.

It will have a selection of 16 different floorplans, with an upscale studio and one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

Further residential amenities will include a 6,500ft² rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, an endless pool for lap swimming or therapy, cabanas, and a spa, as well as a yoga lawn deck and a lounge-style clubhouse.

A secured underground garage will also be available with electric car charging stations.

In March last year, construction work commenced with a glass-raising event. Demolition of interior structures throughout the building was completed earlier this month.

One Camelback is being developed by an affiliate of Sagamore Capital, a Scottsdale-based investment firm. Financing for the project has been arranged by Walker & Dunlop and provided by Los Angeles-based ACORE Capital.

Katerra is serving as the general contractor, as well as a prime supplier, for the project.
