Opal wins interior design contract for MAG EYE project in Dubai

Opal has been awarded the interior design contract for the AED4.7bn ($1.27bn) MAG EYE project in Meydan, Dubai, developed by MAG Lifestyle Development (MAG LD).

MAG has also appointed the project management company VX studio as the peer review consultant for the project.

Under the contract, Opal will design the interiors of the townhouses and apartment buildings, while VX Studio will provide development solutions.

The proposed gated community in Downtown Dubai will feature 3,952 studio or one-bedroom apartments and 536 three or four-bedroom townhouses.

The 4,800m2 development facility will offer public facilities, including a private clinic, nursery, and mosque. The development will also have 5,000mof retail space and 84,211m2 of public parks and green areas with a jogging and bicycle track.

The facility will also feature a sports club, lounge area, and coffee shop. There will also be a swimming pool with a dedicated children’s pool, an indoor play area, and indoor and outdoor bar areas for socialising.
