Austrian firm PORR has started construction work on Yareal’s newest visionary office complex, the LIXA project, in Warsaw, Poland.
During the first stage of construction, an exemplary office building with an area of 22,000m², as well as a smaller 6,000m² office building, will be erected.
The LIXA complex will be part of a new business hub that is being developed at Daszyński roundabout in Warsaw.
The latest investment in the project by Yareal will offer modern, Class A office space and an indoor garden to the tenants.
Yareal Polska president Eric Dapoigny said: “LIXA is the most prestigious office investment in Yareal’s history. That’s why we’re cooperating with PORR, one of the most highly experienced general contractors in the construction industry.

By GlobalData“The combination of original architectural design and solid workmanship will provide future tenants with the possibility of individual, non-standard space arrangements and access to a green garden, which isn’t available in high-rise buildings in the area.”
As part of the LIXA complex’s first stage, PORR will build a total of 28,000m² of Class A office space along Karolkowa Street.
Offering 65,000m² of office space, the LIXA complex will provide access to restaurants, cafes and other services.
It will be constructed around a university campus-style courtyard and garden. The central part of the garden will feature a pavilion connected to a lobby offering conference and restaurant space to organise various meetings and events.
The international BREEAM system, which evaluates the implementation of solutions related to sustainable construction, will certify the LIXA complex.
