UK property investment and development company Quintain has awarded a £211m contract to Sisk for the construction of build-to-rent (B2R) site Canada Gardens at Wembley Park.
Canada Gardens will feature 743 new B2R homes across seven buildings, including more than 300 family-sized homes.
The latest contract represents Sisk’s ninth project at Wembley Park in ITS 12 years of working on the scheme.
Quintain chief executive Angus Dodd said: “Sisk has delivered eight successful projects to date at Wembley Park and has been a trusted partner for 12 years.
“The Canada Gardens development will be a fantastic new collection of purpose-built rental homes, which will appeal to families, couples, sharers and single people both young and old, demonstrating that Wembley Park really is a place for everyone.”
Canada Gardens is completely designed and purpose-built for rent and 303 of the entire new homes delivered will be London Housing Bank equivalent units.
All the new homes will be managed by Tipi, Quintain’s B2R business.
Canada Gardens will feature shared facilities, including a podium-level play area and a new park with several activities for children.
Other amenities include a clubhouse, BBQ area, allotments and a one-acre podium garden. The shared roof terrace will provide views of London and Wembley Stadium.
A super lobby, which will also be home to a new centralised Tipi HQ and marketing suite, will give access to all the homes.
Construction on Canada Gardens is slated for completion in 2020.
